SD Comic Con 2012 Part 3: True Blood

Happy Friday!!! Phewww... Finally, part 3! Right after the Vampire Diaries panel, it was time for True Blood. There was another small break and this time Mr. M stayed in our seats so I could look for one closer. But still no luck, because I think the people in the front has been there all day. So I went back to our seats feeling defeated. But then I thought, it's only my first time there and I go to see the mail panels, so I guess it's alright.

The True Blood cast were also great, but I really just wanted to see Alexander Skarsgard. He plays Eric Northman in the show. Seeing Ryan Kwanten who plays Jason Stackhouse was awesome too, he's very good looking haha. But Seeing Joe Manganiello takes the cake! He plays the werewolf Alcide Herveaux, and he's also in the movie Magic Mike right now. The interview portion was funny, but unfortunately Mr. M was way too tired, so he fell asleep half way. The Interviewer asked if Rutina Wesley learned how to strip from Joe Manganiello since her character is stripping a little this season. This is when Joe got up and did a little belly roll, and of course all the ladies went wild. Yes, including me lol. Then Rutina did one too. Then the producer Alan Ball did one too and Joe came over to his chair and threw a $1 on him hahaha.


Another good moment was during the fans Q&A. A fan asked if we could all see Alex and Stephen flex, but instead they pointed out that Ryan could do a handstand, and he did it on stage! Oh yea, and an extremely lucky girl asked if she could have Alex's panel name with his autograph. I thought, oh poor girl, she's gonna get shot down too. But then Alex asked for a pen and signed and walked over to her and handed her the panel name!!! So jealous!!! >< I should have came down for the questions... but I didn't want to leave Mr. M alone, so maybe next year. After the panel was over I tried to go up to the stage because I saw that they were signing their panel names and throwing it to the fans. I didn't get one though, I got there too late. But at least I got to see them up close.


Saying it was a long day was an understatement. We didn't get to eat much either. After the True Blood panel, we met up with N & G at the exhibition hall to look at more merchandise. They bought a bunch of anime paintings which was really nice, and I bought a bunch of Disney POP figurines. We decided to leave since the exhibition was going to close in 30 min, but as we were walking, we passed by the WB booth and noticed that the True Blood casts were being interviewed and about to do a signing in a few minutes. I found out that you had to have a wristband to be in line to get an autograph. I didn't even know... So me and N just walked back and forth real slow passing the booth to take a few pictures of them.

A lady next to me was yelling "OMG JOE!!! That man is gorgeous! He's God's gift to women!" LOL!

I tried to get a good picture of Alex but it was really hard to do when everyone keeps pushing you

As we were leaving the convention, I saw this couple who dressed up as Jack Sparrow and Giselle. What an unlikely couple lol. It was a really fun experience but extremely tiring. Next year I will definitely attend 2-3 days at least and stay over there. Also it'll help a great deal if you plan everything you want to do so you don't waste time figuring out where to go, where things are, and what time it is. There's also a rumor circling around that my friends and I will dress up as Pokemons LOL! I call Togepi!!! Have a great weekend every one! And if you're watching Dark Knight Rises today, be careful! I just heard about the shooting in Aurora, Colorado this morning and it's devastating to hear about it. Until my next post.
