Disney Weekend!

Hi everyone! How's your Memorial Day weekend going so far? I went to watch MIB 3 Friday night and then Saturday was my friend's birthday BBQ at her new house.

Wanted to share with you all my Disney outings last weekend, which was twice in a row! Saturday I went with my newlyweds friends that had just came back from their honeymoon. It was a really nice but hot day. We ate a late lunch at storyteller cafe inside the Grand Californian Hotel, stalked some Disney weddings like last time, and then we head over to the parks. Finally watched the ASIMO show inside Innoventions hahaha, I want one... We walked around some more but didn't really ride anything because it was way too packed >< But ate at Plaza Inn where they have the BEST fried chicken ever!!! And we were just in time to watch the fireworks after dinner. Overall a good Disney day =]

Foodie Paradise: Brodard

I haven't had a food post since my first ever post. That's because I'm not really allowed to have really good food until I reach my weight loss goal. But just because I can't have some, doesn't mean I can't show the world these totally yummy food!!!

Last Sunday the boyfriend and I, along with two of our old friends made plans to go to Disneyland. They just got their annual pass and we haven't seen each other for so long. We met up at a church in Irvine in the morning and then we had lunch at a Vietnamese restaurant in Garden Grove, Brodard. Their specialty are their absolutely delicious spring rolls. I have never had spring rolls before this, I just didn't like them. But after trying the ones from Brodard, all the other spring rolls I try afterwards just isn't up to par. They serve them with these warm sauce I have no idea what, but made the spring rolls sooo much better. It comes in shrimp and pork, but they're in the form of a fried paste. There's also these crunchy rice paper inside it. Aside from the spring rolls, their other dishes are pretty good too. We got some pan fried rice noodles and these egg quiche looking things with shrimp (sorry I forgot to get the food names ><). Enjoy these enabling pictures! Haha...

New Find: Sam Edelman Beatrix Flats

Happy Friday!!! You have no idea how happy I am that it's almost weekend, and a three day one at that! Can't wait to hang out with good companies and just relax...

Just wanted to share with all of you these amazing new flats that I just got this week! Finding the perfect pair of flats for me is more difficult than you think. My feet are incredibly sensitive to anything so the only things I can be comfortable in are FitFlop Sandals, which are for old ladies (they're kind of like shapeups but as sandals), or boots. I've been eyeing these Sam Edelman flats with the spikes for a while, but I think the spikes intimidated me and it screamed out "PAIN!!!" hahaha.

I read reviews on them and everyone said they're super comfortable, so I took the plunge! I ordered a pair in Evening Rose in an 8, (I'm normally a 7), and they fit alright. I read somewhere that you'll need to go a size up, or at least half a size, like Tory Burch Flats. Those I wear an 8 comfortably. Let me tell you... these are by far the most comfortable flats I have ever put on. Seriously. I wore them the whole day yesterday at work, plus to the mall afterwards, and it was my first time! Tory Burch flats are comfy as well, but I had to wear them for almost a year until they're full comfortable, even then they will still hurt at the end of the day. I was amazed at the fact that I didn't need to break them in. I think I've found my HG of flats! ^^

I loveee rose gold!

Spring Cleaning Ooopsie...

Hi everyone! Oh man, I've been a bad bad blogger... I wanted to to this at least 3-4 times a week, but I don't know what happened! I promise to be more frequent in the future! Any who... Lately I've been doing some spring cleaning that consists of getting rid of old clothes that I would never wear again (a lot of "WTF WAS I THINKING" moments there, lol), and re-organizing my closet, shoes, and handbags shelves. So far so good. I packed away the winter coats and heavy sweaters, and my handbag shelves isn't so packed anymore, made it a lot easier to find all the bags I'd like wear. The only problem is... I have wayyy too much clothes that I don't want anymore! I'm planning to take them to Crossroads in Pasadena so I could try to make a little money off of them, but Crossroads are very trendy and seasonal, so now I still have to organize those old clothes into summer and winter clothes... Might not sound too bad, but they're all pretty much in a shape of a mini mountain... literally! It's been 3 weeks since I started and I still haven't touch it.

On top of that, I just HAD to buy more clothes... It's tough to be a girl, lol! I think I just found my new favorite clothing store though. Most of the time I just shop at Forever21 or H&M, but that results in many girls wearing the same thing as you! embarrassing right? So last week as I was walking around the mall, I came across Francesca's Collections. I was in heaven... Everything was so girly and cute! So I came out with these lovely things.

Fighting Women's Cancer

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a good weekend! It was such a fun-filled one for me, but if I'm going to write everything about it, it'll be too long, and I don't want to bore you all. I know my posts have been incredibly long, but bare with me, I'm still trying to get used to this. So let's start with the Revlon Run/Walk for women's cancer that my friend and I did on Saturday morning. For those who have read my previous post, I signed up for this event with the goal of raising $250 that I reached within a day, because I have such great family and friends!!! But I wanted to see if I could do better and raised my goal to $500. By the day of, I reached $525. My faith in humanity has been restored once again lol. So I'd like to thank everyone that donated on my behalf, I am truly blessed to have you all in my life. I did this for my aunt that we lost to breast cancer 11 years ago, and for all the women out there.

Happy Halfweek

Happy Wednesday everyone! How did you all start off your weekdays? I've been at work, nothing new there, but been running at the Rosebowl loop afterwards. Last night I did some hill training. Gotta get ready for the Revlon Run/Walk this weekend.

New Find: The Three YSL

Good evening all! or should I say good morning since it is in the AM... I should be sleeping because tomorrow I am going on a bike ride with some friends at 9 AM, but... can't sleep! >< I've just realized that I haven't posted anything about the first "F" on my blog! which is Fashion... Since I got one of these lovely babies today, I thought hmm... this would make a good first fashion post. I've always liked YSL, but never really thought about owning one since my passion is Chanel. But because of Chanel's ridiculous price increases, I find myself looking for lower priced luxury brands these days and YSL is at the top of my list.

It just so happen that there are many websites, such as Rue la la and Belle & Clive, that sells authentic luxury brand items for less than their retail prices. However, their sale usually lasts for only 1-2 days, and the good stuff will most likely be sold out within the first 10 minutes. I was lucky enough to snatch my first YSL Tribute Sandal in Pacific (navy blue) straw-embossed patent leather from Rue la la.

And They Lived Happily Ever After...

Happy Tuesday everyone!!! Wow, I can't believe that it is May already!!! It's ridiculous how fast time goes by when you're all grown up... Feels like it was a lot slower when you were a kid don't you think? Anyway, what better way to start the new month by posting about the start of my dear friends' new lives as husband and wife! That's right! This past weekend was their wedding, and it was absolutely beautiful!!! And she planned every single thing by herself, how awesome is she??? She's definitely planning mine, whenever that is... hahaha.

Just a little bit about the newlyweds and the proposal, they've been together for 6 years now and they both LOVE Disney, as much as my boyfriend and I. So one day last April, we met up at Disneyland (all of us are passholders) for our usual double date. The whole day me and the bride to be were talking about weddings, what color schemes we wanted, how many bridesmaids, how big the cake, how big the dress, what neckline, and you can only guess what else, lol! Throughout the day, the groom to be wanted to take a picture in front of the castle, but she kept saying "Why? we always take castle picture... do we need to? no? okay then let's go!" He tried again later on at night right before the firework and I said "It's too crowded right now, everyone's waiting for the firework, let's just go after it's done" And honestly I didn't think we were going to because we'll probably be too tired by the end of the night. But as we were going towards the exit passing the partner statue, I remembered and asked if they still wanted to take castle pics, and he said yes. As we were lining up in front of the castle, we were still talking about weddings, then it was our turn. First it was me and my boyfriend, then we took a group picture, then it was them. I was walking away from where we took picture and when I turn around, he was already on his knee!

The Proposal...
